Unit UT336B is a refrigerant leak detector by UNI-T with a semiconductor sensor; it detects leaks of halogenated refrigerants of the CFC, HCFC and HFC groups. The maximum sensitivity is 3 g/a and the warm-up time is 60 s; sensitivity and alarm light each have 6 levels. It provides audible and visual alarms, automatic reset at power-on, a mute mode and a probe light that follows the colour of the alarm lights. It runs on 4 AA alkaline batteries with a battery life of 10 hours; the sensor life is about 2 years at 2.5 hours of use per day. The operating environment is 0–50 °C and <95% relative humidity (non-condensing). The detector is widely used in work with refrigerants, such as air conditioner maintenance, vehicle repair, refrigeration equipment inspection and refrigerator maintenance.
