Unit UTL8512+ is a UTL8500+ series programmable DC electronic load in a ½ 2U housing, rated 150 V, 30 A and 300 W. Technical values: load voltage 0–15 V / 0–150 V; load current 0–3 A / 0–30 A; total power 300 W; voltage resolution 0.1 mV / 1 mV, current resolution 0.01 mA / 0.1 mA; current slew rate 0.0006 A/µs – 3 A/µs; maximum dynamic frequency 50 kHz; 15 test modes; RS232 interface; dimensions 372 × 215 × 88 mm, weight 4.49 kg. It works in 15 test modes: the four static modes CC, CV, CR and CP together with dynamic, OCP, OVP, time, CR-LED, battery, list and other modes, and a 4.3-inch TFT display shows the results with their parameters. It is used for testing power supplies, chargers, drivers and batteries, for over-current tests in series connection, and as a programmable constant-current source or ammeter.
