Relay Jumper Bars
A relay jumper bar (relay bridge) is a comb-shaped connecting part that is fitted on top to link the same-function terminals of relay sockets lined up side by side on a DIN rail. It is used to feed the coil common or contact common of many slim PLC relays without running wires one by one; it reduces wiring time and wire clutter inside the panel. This category includes Isıso 20-way red, blue and black jumper bars and Molwex 8-way and 20-way jumper bars. Select the jumper bar according to the brand and series of your relay socket, the pitch width of the socket, the number of poles, and the total current the jumper bar will carry. Different colors make it easier to distinguish potentials such as plus and minus in the panel. A relay jumper bar should not be confused with a terminal block jumper; because the pitch is made to suit the relay socket, it may not fit the jumper slot of DIN rail terminal blocks.
