Isıso Pedals

A foot pedal (pedal switch) is a control element with an internal contact mechanism that lets the operator give a start or stop command to the machine with the foot while the hands stay on the workpiece. It is used on workbenches where both hands must stay free, such as presses, press brakes, guillotine shears, spot welders and filling machines. The category includes single and double pedals, guarded with a shield over the top and unguarded, with metal, aluminum and plastic housings, as well as corded mini pedals, from the brands EMAS, Schneider Electric, Isıso and Gwest. Select the pedal by whether it is single or double, need for a guarded case, housing material, contact arrangement such as 1NO + 1NC or 2NO + 2NC, and the rated current and voltage of the contacts. The guarded case prevents a falling part or an accidental step from triggering the pedal. Double pedals give two separate commands, such as forward and reverse, from a single housing. An industrial foot pedal should not be confused with an instrument pedal or a sewing machine pedal; it is a pedal switch that gives commands to the machine's control circuit through a contact.
