Cata Lamp Holders

A lamp holder is the connecting component that holds the bulb mechanically in the luminaire and makes the electrical connection; each bulb cap has its own lamp holder type. It is used in new luminaire manufacturing and to replace worn, broken or non-contacting lamp holders in existing luminaires. This category includes the ACK ceramic-body GZ10 lamp holder and the Cata GU10 lamp holder with 12 cm cable for mains-voltage spot bulbs. Choose the lamp holder by the bulb's cap code, operating voltage, housing material and whether it has a cable. The letter in the lamp holder code describes the cap shape and the number gives the dimension in millimeters: in E27 and E14 codes the number shows the diameter of the screw cap, and in codes such as GU10 and G9 it shows the distance between the centers of the two pins. GU10 and GZ10 are not the same lamp holder: a bulb with a GU10 cap with a chamfered edge can also be fitted into a GZ10 lamp holder, but a bulb with a GZ10 cap with a flat edge does not seat in a GU10 lamp holder.
