LED Tri-Proof Luminaires

LED tri-proof luminaires are LED luminaires, mostly made in linear form, that are protected against dust and water by a sealed (tri-proof) housing and a gasketed diffuser. They are used in damp or dusty environments such as parking lots, warehouses, workshops, basements, utility rooms and covered open areas. This category includes models from the İnoled, ACK and MAS brands in powers such as 18 W, 36 W, 40 W and 60 W, in lengths of approximately 60 cm, 120 cm and 150 cm; the protection rating is stated as IP65 on most models and IP44 on some. Besides standard models, there are also versions with an emergency kit, with a radar sensor and with a parking function, as well as series with ENEC drivers. Choose the IP rating according to the humidity and dust level of the environment, the luminaire length and luminous flux (lm) according to the mounting height and luminaire spacing, and the light color according to the location; determine the need for an emergency kit and sensor according to the project. Models with an emergency kit keep burning for a while on their internal battery when mains power is cut. A tri-proof luminaire is protected against dust and water but is not ex-proof; an Ex-marked luminaire is required in explosive environments.
