LED Sconces

LED sconces are wall luminaires with an LED light source that are mounted on the wall and direct light onto the wall surface, the floor or the immediate surroundings. They are used at indoor points such as corridors, stairs, bedsides and above pictures, and, with models of a suitable IP rating, outdoors at building entrances, balconies and facades. This category includes, mainly from ACK and Cata, LED picture sconces, wall and stair sconces, aluminum-housing wall sconces and sconces with a PIR sensor. Powers are offered in values such as 1 W, 3 W, 6 W and 12 W, light color as 3000 K, 4000 K and 6500 K or as CCT switchable with a switch on the body, and protection rating as IP20, IP44, IP54 and IP65. Choose the protection rating according to whether the mounting location is indoors or outdoors, the power according to the surface to be lit, and the light color and body color according to the space. IP20 models are for dry indoor spaces; in places exposed to rain and water splash, evaluate the suitability of the IP rating from the manufacturer's data. A sconce is a local luminaire mounted on the wall and should not be confused with downlights and spot luminaires recessed into the ceiling.
