An LED street luminaire is an outdoor-rated road lighting luminaire, mounted on a pole or at the end of a bracket, with optics that spread light along the axis of the road; it is also known as an LED street lamp. It is used for night lighting of avenues, streets, roads within residential complexes, parking lots, and the perimeter roads of factories and warehouses. The category lists ACK, İnoled and Cata brand models in powers such as 50 W, 80 W, 100 W, 150 W and 200 W, luminous fluxes such as 5400 lm, 10950 lm and 22100 lm, color temperatures of 3000 K, 4000 K and 6500 K, and IP64 and IP65 ratings. Choose the luminaire by the luminous flux needed for the pole height, pole spacing and road width, the connection opening that fits the diameter of the pole or bracket tube, the IP rating and the color temperature. In road lighting, light distribution is decisive as well as power; for project work, have the lighting calculation done with the manufacturer's photometric data. A street luminaire should not be confused with an LED floodlight, which directs light onto a specific surface; a floodlight is mounted with an adjustable bracket, while a street luminaire is mounted by slipping onto the pole or bracket tube.
