Unit UT-CS07 is a 1000 A clamp sensor that measures AC/DC current when connected to the voltage input of a multimeter or data logger. The jaw fits a 35 mm conductor or a 65 × 8 mm busbar. The output ratio is 10 mV/A on the 100 A range and 1 mV/A on the 1000 A range; AC accuracy is ±(1.5%+0.5 A) at 100 A and ±(2.0%+0.5 A) at 1000 A. DC accuracy at 100 A is ±(1.5%+0.5 A) at 45–200 Hz and ±(2.0%+0.5 A) at 200–400 Hz; at 1000 A it is ±(2.0%+0.5 A) at 45–200 Hz and ±(2.5%+0.5 A) at 200–400 Hz. The sensor runs on 2 AA batteries (3 V), draws <50 mA and has a low battery indication. The safety category is CAT III 1500 V / CAT IV 600 V and the drop test height is 1 m. It has a zero function and AC/DC 1000 A input protection. The cable is 1.1 m long; the sensor is compatible with multimeters such as the UT117C, UT196, UT139C, UT197 and UT197PV.
