Unit UT-P42 is a clamp-type current probe with a maximum working current of 200 A that lets a general-purpose oscilloscope display AC and DC current signals. The output ratios are 50 mV/A and 5 mV/A, the current range is 0.4–200 A, the frequency range is DC – 150 kHz (-3 dB) and the working voltage is 600 V. Typical DC accuracy is ±2% ±0.4 A on the 50 mV/A range (0.4–10 A peak) and ±2% ±1 A on the 5 mV/A range (1–200 A peak). Typical rise time is 2.3 µs and maximum noise is 2 mV peak-to-peak. The probe runs on a 9 V battery and accepts conductors up to 10.3 mm. The cable length is 200 cm, the dimensions are 231 × 67 × 36 mm and the weight is 310 g without the battery. The probe must not be clamped onto circuits above 600 V AC.
