The UNI-T UT89X is a True RMS digital multimeter for those who want to make multiple measurements with a single device in electrical maintenance and electronic circuit checks. With its 6000-count display it measures up to 1000 V AC/DC voltage and 20 A AC/DC current. Measurement limits should be evaluated together with the connection and duration conditions in the user manual. In addition to resistance, capacitance and frequency measurements, it supports temperature measurement between −40 °C and 1000 °C. A type K temperature probe is among the standard accessories; the temperature limit of the probe to be used must also be taken into account. The UT89X model includes temperature and phase/neutral line testing; the LED test function specific to the UT89XD model is not a feature of this model. Dual-sensitivity non-contact voltage detection (NCV), diode, continuity and transistor hFE tests meet different control needs. Audible and visual alerts, flashlight and automatic display illumination make reading easier in low-light areas. The device runs on four 1.5 V R03 batteries. Its standard accessories are batteries, test probes, a K-type temperature probe and an English user manual.
