Unit UTx325 is the long-range thermal imaging monocular of the series with the narrowest field of view (10.5° × 7.9°) thanks to its 25 mm lens; it uses a 384 x 288 infrared detector and a 0.4 in LCOS display (1280 × 960). Thermal sensitivity is ≤40 mK and frame rate ≤50 Hz; focus is manual and the diopter adjustment is -5D to +3D. The detection range is 417 m for a rabbit-sized target, 1318 m for a human and 3194 m for a vehicle. Digital zoom is 2x/4x or 1.0x to 4x continuous, calibration is automatic, manual or background, and photo storage and an MCX video output are provided. The built-in 4000 mAh Li-ion battery runs for at least 8 hours. The monocular is rated IP67 and 2 m drop proof and weighs 428 g.
