Quick Cable Splice Connectors

A quick cable splice connector is an insulated splice element with a tin-plated brass body that joins two conductors together without soldering. It is used to splice conductors in vehicle, machine and low-voltage wiring, to repair a broken or shortened line and to insulate the splice. In this category, KSN KSP-1 red 0.5-1.0 mm², KSP-2 blue 1.0-2.5 mm² and KSP-5 yellow 4-6 mm² models are sold individually, with nylon insulation, 600 V voltage and a maximum 105 °C temperature rating. Choose the connector according to the cross-section of the conductor to be connected (the color matches the cross-section range), the voltage and temperature rating, and the connector length (for example 27.0 mm and 34.5 mm), and make sure the splice is made according to the manufacturer's instructions. A connector with an unsuitable cross-section holds the conductor loosely and causes the splice to heat up. A quick splice connector does not replace a splice kit made for damp, outdoor and underground splices.

  • Clarify whether the task is connection, cable routing, enclosure distribution or termination.
  • Match dimensions, thread standard, conductor cross-section and IP rating with the cable and panel.
  • Choose housing material and pack quantity according to the mounting environment.
