Pendant ceiling luminaires are decorative lighting luminaires hung from the ceiling by a cable, chain or pipe that bring the light down over a table, counter or seating area. They are used above dining tables, kitchen islands, cafe and restaurant tables and shop counters as both a lighting and a decoration element. This category includes Cata brand decorative pendant luminaires with E27 and E14 lamp holders, a LED model whose color temperature can be set to 3000 K, 4000 K and 6000 K, and ACK decorative pendants; body colors include black, brown, red and antique brass. Choose the lamp holder type, cap size, drop length and body color according to the ceiling height and the size of the surface to be lit. In models with a lamp holder, the light color and luminous flux depend on the installed bulb; models with an IP20 rating are for dry indoor spaces. Pendant luminaires are used hanging and should not be confused with ceiling-mounted fixtures and ceiling luminaires that mount flush against the ceiling.
