Unit LM40Mi is a mini laser distance meter with a hard metal housing that measures distance over 0.05 m to 40 m with ±(2.0 mm + 5×10⁻⁵ × D) accuracy. It provides continuous measurement, area, wall area and volume measurement, perimeter measurement, Pythagorean measurement and MAX/MIN, and the unit switches between m, inch and ft. The laser is Class II, 630 – 670 nm wavelength and <1 mW; the laser switches off after 20 s on a single measurement and the device powers off after 150 s. The 3.7 V 370 mAh Li-ion battery lasts for 8000 measurements on a full charge. It is used in indoor and outdoor decoration, architectural surveying, engineering projects, engineering acceptance and design work. It measures 86.5 mm × 36.5 mm × 19.5 mm, weighs 75 g and is supplied with a Type-C cable, a hand strap and a gift box.
