Unit UT107 is the automotive multimeter of the UNI-T UT100 series that also offers 12 V battery test, temperature, frequency and duty cycle measurement; it has a 2000-count display and manual range selection. DC voltage is specified at ±(0.5%+2) in the 200 mV, 2 V and 20 V ranges and ±(0.8%+2) in the 1000 V range, and AC voltage at ±(0.8%+5) in the 200 V and 750 V ranges. DC current is measured at ±(0.8%+5) in the 200 mA range and ±(1.2%+5) in the 10 A range, and resistance at ±(0.8%+5) in the 200 Ω–200 kΩ ranges and ±(1.5%+5) in the 20 MΩ range. Frequency is specified at ±(2%+5) in the 2 kHz range; temperature is measured from -40 °C to 1000 °C (±(1%+7) from 0 °C to 400 °C), the 12 V battery test is specified at ±(3%+5) and duty cycle from 1% to 90% at ±(4%+5); dwell/tach measurement for 4, 6 and 8 cylinder engines is provided at ±(3%+5). It offers a diode test, an audible continuity test, data hold, a low battery indicator and input protection, and a point-contact temperature probe is supplied. Its safety category is CAT II 1000 V / CAT III 600 V. The UT107 is the UT100 series model that also tests temperature and 12 V batteries; it is designed for automotive diagnosis on fuses, switches, solenoids, relays, charging systems, fuel systems and engine sensors.
