Unit UT890C is a True RMS digital multimeter with a large LCD display and 6000 counts. Measures 1000 V DC and 750 V AC voltage, AC/DC current up to 20 A, 60 MΩ resistance, capacitance up to 100 mF, frequency up to 9.999 MHz and −40…1000 °C temperature. Gives audible and visual alerts in NCV and continuity tests; includes blown fuse detection, high voltage protection and an overcurrent alarm above 20 A. Has hFE (transistor), diode, REL, MAX/MIN and data hold functions. It is rated CAT II 1000 V / CAT III 600 V and runs on two 1.5 V batteries.
