Unit UT136B+ is the 4000 count model of the UT136+ series with non-contact voltage detection (NCV) and no temperature input; it measures AC/DC up to 1000 V and 10 A. It covers DC voltage to 1000 V (±(0.7%+3)), AC voltage to 1000 V (±(1%+3)), DC current to 10 A (±(1%+3)), AC current to 10 A (±(1.2%+5)), resistance to 40 MΩ (±(0.8%+2)) and capacitance to 40 mF (±(3%+5)); it also offers a transistor (hFE) test, a diode test, an audible continuity test, data hold and an LCD backlight. The sampling rate is 4 readings per second and a 1 mF capacitor is measured in 4 seconds. With a 3 mm protective sleeve and 2 m drop resistance it is used in CAT II 1000 V / CAT III 600 V environments. It runs for more than 500 hours on 2 × 1.5 V (R6) batteries and weighs 330 g. Batteries, test leads and an English manual are supplied.
