Unit UT625B is the 200 A DC test current model of the UNI-T UT625A/UT625B low resistance tester family; it directly reads the contact and loop resistance of switchgear. The resistance range is 0.1 µΩ to 2000 mΩ; the test current is adjustable from 5 to 200 A DC in steps of 5 A or 10 A, the open-circuit voltage is 10 V DC and the measuring power is ≤250 W. The accuracy is ±(0.4%rdg+0.04%FS) in the 200 A, 100 A and 50 A ranges and ±(0.4%rdg+0.6%FS) in the 5 A ranges. It uses four-wire Kelvin measurement; the test time is selectable from 10 to 60 s, and a comparison value can be set to display PASS/FAIL. It has a 7-inch colour LCD, a built-in thermal printer, 200 sets of data storage and a USB connection to a PC. It runs on AC 198–242 V (50/60 Hz) and weighs 7.5 kg. It is used for testing the contact resistance of low, medium and high-voltage circuit breakers and other high-current connection points such as busbar joints.
