Unit UTG4122A is a UTG4000A series two-channel function/arbitrary waveform generator with a 500 MSa/s sample rate that outputs sine waves up to 120 MHz and square and pulse waves up to 40 MHz. Technical values: two channels; sine 1 µHz to 120 MHz, square and pulse 1 µHz to 40 MHz, ramp 1 µHz to 3 MHz, harmonic 1 µHz to 60 MHz; sample rate 500 MSa/s; vertical resolution 16-bit; arbitrary waveform depth 8 pts to 32 Mpts; edge time < 6 ns (typical, 1 Vpp); frequency counter 100 mHz to 800 MHz; display 8-inch TFT LCD (800 × 480); dimensions 336 × 164 × 108 mm, weight 3.5 kg. Using DDS technology it generates stable, low-distortion signals and offers 12 modulation types, linear and logarithmic frequency sweep, customizable harmonic generation, noise modes and a 100 mHz to 800 MHz frequency counter. The channels can run independently or in channel-coupling mode. It is used as a signal source in circuit development, test and teaching laboratories.
