Industrial Automation Software
Industrial automation software consists of SCADA, HMI and commissioning programs that let you monitor data from PLCs, drives and field devices on screen, keep alarm and trend records, and configure devices. It is installed on operator stations, servers and client computers in production lines, process plants, power distribution and building management to monitor and manage the process from a central point. This group includes Schneider Electric Plant SCADA 2023 server and client licenses, Plant HMI, AVEVA Edge 2023 SCADA Runtime, Vijeo Designer and EcoStruxure Operator Terminal Expert runtime licenses, and SoMove software. Licenses are tiered by variable tag counts such as 100, 300, 1000, 2500 and 10000 tags. Choose the license by the number of tags in the project, the server, client or runtime role, the software version and the license delivery format (for example softkey). If you are expanding an existing project, verify compatibility with the installed version from the manufacturer's data. A runtime license runs a prepared project; it does not replace a project development license.
