Unit UT-Z003 is a macro lens designed for UNI-T E and V series thermal imaging cameras and is used to show the heat distribution of small targets such as circuit boards at close range. Without a macro lens the thermal image becomes blurry on targets inside the minimum imaging distance; with the lens fitted the image stays clear at close range. The optimal measurement distance is 40 mm; the camera's user manual gives the exact distance. It is used with the UTi720E, UTi730E, UTi740E, UTi720V, UTi730V and UTi740V. Separate macro lenses (UT-Z002, UT-Z005) exist for the A/B series and for the UTi721M/UTi720M.
