Unit UT197 is a handheld True RMS industrial multimeter with a 600000 count display, IP67 protection and 5 m drop resistance that works from -40 °C to 55 °C in harsh outdoor conditions and offers Bluetooth. DC voltage is measured up to 1000 V at ±(0.015%+10) (600000 count) and ±(0.03%+5) (60000 count), AC voltage up to 1000 V at ±(0.3%+20), DC current up to 10 A at ±(0.1%+20) and AC current at ±(0.5%+50); frequency is measured from 10 Hz to 1 MHz, resistance up to 60 MΩ, capacitance up to 60 mF and temperature from -40 °C to 1000 °C. A built-in VFD anti-interference startup mode filters carrier-frequency and distorted-voltage interference in inverter measurements, and it has 12 kV pulse protection and EMC interference immunity. With the optional UT-CS07 current clamp it measures 1000 A AC/DC and records results in the UNI-T mobile app; UT-CS06A and UT-CS09D current sensors are also supported. It is used in power and electrical construction, equipment maintenance, petrochemical, engineering, HVAC, new energy, factory and laboratory applications. It is rated CAT IV 1000 V (CE, cETLus), runs on 2 × 1.5 V AA batteries and weighs about 835 g including batteries.
