Kraus & Naimer C316 T206/48 STM is a 6-pole emergency stop main switch rated 275 A (enclosed thermal current Ithe 275 A, open thermal current Ith 315 A) (red handle, yellow front plate); supplied as a maintenance and safety switch in a STM plastic enclosure with conduit entries, IP66/67, enclosure size 560 x 380 x 280 mm (oversized wiring space). Ratings: rated insulation voltage Ui 1000 V, impulse withstand voltage Uimp 8 kV, AC-21A 315 A, three-phase motor rating at 380–440 V: AC-3 55 kW, AC-23A 132 kW, breaking capacity 2000 / 2000 / 335 A (220–240 / 380–440 / 660–690 V), maximum fuse 315 A gG, short-time withstand current 4200 A (1 s). Connection: flexible conductors up to 150 mm², solid or stranded conductors up to 185 mm², terminal tightening torque 14 Nm. The enclosure has IP66/67 protection; a ground terminal and a safety interlocked cover are standard equipment. Codes ending in STM are supplied with conduit entries. This version is supplied with cable glands. It includes 1 NO + 1 NC auxiliary contacts; the auxiliary contacts close after the main contacts close and open before the main contacts open. The KG and C316 series switches exceed the requirements of IEC 60947-3 / EN 60947-3 (VDE 0660 part 107), IEC/EN 60204 and VDE 0113 and are used as switch disconnectors, main switches and maintenance switches.
