Kraus & Naimer CG8 A211 is a 20 A (Ith) CG8 series cam switch; function: 2-pole changeover switch with centre OFF position (1-0-2). Front plate 48 x 48 mm. Switching function: positions 1-0-2; switching angle 60°; 2 contact stages. Ratings: rated insulation voltage Ui 690 V, impulse withstand voltage Uimp 6 kV (switch), AC-21A 20 A, single-phase motor rating at 220–240 V: AC-3 2.2 kW, AC-23A 2.5 kW, breaking capacity 150 / 150 / 80 A (220–240 / 380–440 / 660–690 V), maximum fuse 25 A gG, short-time withstand current 140 A (1 s). Connection: flexible conductors 0.75–2.5 mm², solid or stranded conductors 0.5–2.5 mm², terminal tightening torque 0.6 Nm. It is used to change over between two circuits or supplies; the circuit is open in the centre 0 position.
