WAGO 221-412 is a 2-conductor, transparent-housing splicing connector with levers from the 221 series that joins all conductor types up to 4 mm² without tools, using CAGE CLAMP spring connection operated by levers. Connection capacity: nominal cross-section 4 mm² / 12 AWG; solid conductor 0.2–4 mm² / 24–12 AWG; stranded conductor 0.2–4 mm² / 24–12 AWG; fine-stranded conductor 0.14–4 mm² / 24–12 AWG; strip length 11 mm. Material and environment: insulation material Polycarbonate (PC); UL94 flammability class V2; continuous operating temperature 105 °C; operating ambient temperature +85 °C. Dimensions are 13.1 x 8.3 x 18.6 mm (width x height x depth), weight 1.7 g. Used to splice and branch conductors in junction boxes or inside devices in lighting, signal and supply lines.
