Kraus & Naimer C42 A400/TRA301 is a 2-pole, 63 A motor reversing cam switch. The switch has positions 1-0-2, a switching angle of 60° and 2 levels. It is supplied as an enclosed (TRA) version in a KE03 enclosure (IP65) with an I handle. Front plate code F071; size type S1. Rated insulation voltage is 690 V (AC 50/60 Hz) and rated impulse withstand voltage is 6 kV (switch), 4 kV (switch disconnector). AC-21A rated operational current is 63 A over 20–690 V; single-phase AC-3 rated power (220–240 V) is 6 kW; AC-23A rated power (220–240 V) is 10 kW. Maximum fuse rating gG 80 A; rated short-time withstand current 1000 A (1 s); power loss per pole 1.7 W. The terminals accept stranded conductors up to 2 x 16 mm²; tightening torque is 3 Nm (26.4 lb-in); operating temperature is -25…+60 °C. It is used to reverse the direction of rotation of a motor; the motor stops in the centre (0) position.
