Kraus & Naimer KG250 T204/13 VE is a 250 A (Ith), 4-pole emergency stop main switch (red handle, yellow front plate); base mounting with door clutch, 88 x 88 mm escutcheon plate, IP66. Ratings: rated insulation voltage Ui 1000 V, impulse withstand voltage Uimp 8 kV, AC-21A 250 A, three-phase motor rating at 380–440 V: AC-3 55 kW, AC-23A 90 kW, breaking capacity 1600 / 1380 / 400 A (220–240 / 380–440 / 660–690 V), maximum fuse 250 A gG, short-time withstand current 4600 A (1 s). Connection: flexible conductors 25–150 mm², solid or stranded conductors 16–185 mm², terminal tightening torque 16 Nm. Versions with door clutch are also supplied with a padlock device. The panel door can only be opened when the switch is in the OFF position and no padlock is fitted. A padlockable handle and a protective cover for the incoming terminals are standard equipment. KG250 and KG315 also have protective covers on the outgoing terminals. The KG and C316 series switches exceed the requirements of IEC 60947-3 / EN 60947-3 (VDE 0660 part 107), IEC/EN 60204 and VDE 0113 and are used as switch disconnectors, main switches and maintenance switches.
