Kraus & Naimer KG41 T203/40 KL11V is a 40 A (Ith), 3-pole emergency stop main switch (red handle, yellow front plate); supplied as a maintenance and safety switch in a KL series plastic enclosure (KL11V), IP66/67, enclosure size 190 x 100 x 93 mm. Ratings: rated insulation voltage Ui 690 V, impulse withstand voltage Uimp 6 kV, AC-21A 40 A, three-phase motor rating at 380–440 V: AC-3 11 kW, AC-23A 15 kW, breaking capacity 300 / 300 / 150 A (220–240 / 380–440 / 660–690 V), maximum fuse 50 A gG, short-time withstand current 500 A (1 s). Connection: flexible conductors 2.5–10 mm², solid or stranded conductors 1.5–16 mm², terminal tightening torque 1.8 Nm. The enclosure has IP66/67 protection and is flame resistant to UL94 V-0; a ground terminal and a safety interlocked cover are standard equipment. The cover interlock only allows the cover to be opened at the 9 o'clock position. It includes 1 NO + 1 NC auxiliary contacts; the auxiliary contacts close after the main contacts close and open before the main contacts open. The KG and C316 series switches exceed the requirements of IEC 60947-3 / EN 60947-3 (VDE 0660 part 107), IEC/EN 60204 and VDE 0113 and are used as switch disconnectors, main switches and maintenance switches.
