Kardeş Elektrik KM 300 is a standard type butt splice sleeve for 300 mm² cables. It is made from electrolytic copper tube and is electrolytically tin plated. The inner diameter (d1) is 23.4 mm, the outer diameter (d2) is 29.5 mm and the length (L) is 98.5 mm. The product is offered as complying with TS EN IEC 61238-1-3; the tube material is electrolytic copper complying with TS EN 13600. Annealed copper is used in production to prevent breakage and loosening during crimping; the manufacturer specifies crimping with a standard type die. The manufacturer shows 4 crimp points at each end of the sleeve (8 in total), at 6.5 / 18.5 / 30.5 / 42.5 mm from the sleeve end. It is used to join cable conductors.
